  2. CNIC، ای میل اور موبائل نمبر سے رجسٹر کریں اور OTP سے تصدیق کریں۔
  3. تفصیلات بالکل NADRA CNIC ریکارڈ کے مطابق درج کریں اور پچھلے پاسپورٹ کی تصدیق کریں۔
  4. تجدید فیس ادا کر کے درخواست جمع کریں۔
  5. SMS/ای میل پر ٹریکنگ آئی ڈی ملے گی؛ dgip.gov.pk پر ٹریک کریں اور پاسپورٹ کورئیر سے وصول کریں۔

Renew Before It Expires

Passport renewal lets you replace an expired or soon-to-expire Pakistani passport. The DGIP online portal allows both inland and overseas Pakistanis to renew without changing their existing particulars.

When You Can Renew

  • When your passport has expired
  • When less than one year of validity remains
  • For both inland and overseas Pakistanis

Good to Know

  • Renewal keeps the same particulars as your previous passport and NADRA record.
  • Changes to name, date of birth or photo require a fresh passport, not a simple renewal.

How to Apply — Step by Step

Visit the DGIP online portal (dgip.gov.pk), choose Apply Online for Passport, then select the renewal category (overseas Pakistanis use the overseas renewal option).

Register with your CNIC, email and mobile number and verify via OTP.

Enter details exactly as per your NADRA CNIC record and confirm your previous passport.

Pay the renewal fee and submit.

Receive a tracking ID by SMS / email; track at dgip.gov.pk and receive your passport by courier.
